Tour de Valley Cops for Cancer comes to White Rock September 27, 2022.

White Rock RCMP are excited to invite the community to cheer on the Cops for Cancer Tour de Valley riders when they cycle through White Rock on September 27th, 2022. White Rock RCMP’s very own Constable Emma Dyer is a part of the team again!

Constable Dyer’s personal motto is- Tough times don’t last; tough people do. With every hill I climb, I think about the kids and how strong they are and that tough times don’t last, but tough people do. Those tough people are the kids, they are stronger and braver than any of us riders.

The team will be making a few stops throughout the city and is expected to be out front of the White Rock RCMP detachment (15299 Pacific Avenue) at 10:20 a.m. The team will be available for a quick meet and greet and refreshments will be served.

Cops for Cancer began in 1997 with one police officer who wanted to make a difference. Ever since, it’s grown into a collective effort across Canada and become one of the largest fundraising events of childhood cancer research in the country.

As a partnership between first responders and the Canadian Cancer Society, we’ve raised nearly $50 million to increase survival rates and support children living with cancer and their families.
