Local resident arrested after breaking windows

White Rock RCMP have arrested a 60-year-old White Rock resident for mischief, relating to the April 3rd, 2023 broken windows in the 15100 block of Russell Avenue, White Rock. At approximately 2:20 a.m on April 3rd, 2023 police were advised of the smashed windows at the White Rock Beach Beer Company.

White Rock RCMP members attended and canvassed for CCTV. After viewing the CCTV, police were able to recognize the suspect and on April 7th, 2023 the suspect was located and arrested. They were released on an Undertaking with a future court date and conditions not to be within 100 meters of 15100 Russell Avenue, White Rock, BC. A charge of mischief is being recommended.

During the first quarter of 2023, from January 1 to March 31, White Rock RCMP recommended charges to the BC Prosecution Service on an additional five individuals for break and enter into homes, commercial businesses, condo mail boxes and storage areas in White Rock.
