Bear in downtown Trail

Please make sure you maintain a respectful distance from bears if you see them in a public area. Contact the RCMP or BC Conservation Officer Service to report any wildlife incidents. Please secure your food sources and garbage as it will lure wild animals into populated areas. Competition can be fierce in the wild, and can force smaller bears into urban centers in search of food. Says Sgt. Wicentowich
