Kitimat RCMP seek information on injured male

On August 25th, 2023, at 8:47 pm, the Kitimat RCMP were dispatched to assist local Emergency Health Services who had located an injured male on Oriole St in Kitimat BC.
Kitimat RCMP officers attended and found EHS aiding a 39-year-old Kitimat resident who had been found unconscious, and bleeding. The male was taken to a local hospital for further treatment, and remains in hospital. It is unknown how the injury occurred.
The investigation into this matter is continuing. If you saw this male in the neighbourhood or heard or witnessed an altercation on Oriole St on August 25th, please contact the Kitimat RCMP at 250-632-7111 and cite file number 2023-3240. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can report any information through Northern BC Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). If your information leads to an arrest, you may receive a reward of up to $2000.
